Academies and Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education
The office of Academies and Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) supports the majority of the over 60 different pathway offerings across GCPS, ranging from Agriculture to Construction to Media Production to Healthcare to Business and Marketing to Engineering and Manufacturing, as well as Junior ROTC. CTAE programs can be found in the district's middle and high schools. The office is also responsible for supporting the seven college and career-readiness academy high schools--Berkmar, Central Gwinnett, Discovery, Lanier, Meadowcreek, Shiloh, and South Gwinnett--which are designed to support inclusive and supportive small learning communities within the larger school where students develop advanced future-ready skills and explore career interests.
