Medcom Flexible Spending Account

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) offer benefit-eligible employees the opportunity to use pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible non-reimbursed health expenses and qualifying dependent care expenses. Special care must be taken in predicting the out-of-pocket expenses for the next plan year. Any unused portion of FSA funds at the end of the plan year will be forfeited.

GCPS uses Medcom to administer FSA for health care and dependent care. Enrolled employees will receive a Medcom Flex Convenience MasterCard mailed to the employee's home address. Additional cards for spouse or dependent children are available by request.
