Health Insurance

The State Health Benefit Plan is the administrator for health insurance. Vendors include Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia, UnitedHealthcare, and Kaiser Permanente. Employees have the option of the following plan designs: Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA), Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), and a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP).

Sharecare - Wellness benefits will be administered by Sharecare for BCBSGa and UHC members. Sharecare provides members with comprehensive well-being resources and incentive programs. CVS Caremark - CVS Caremark administers the prescription drug pharmacy benefits for members who choose BCBSGa and UHC. CVS Caremark provides benefits for retail prescription drug products, mail order, home delivery, and specialty pharmacy services.
