Gwinnett County Public Schools

The Plan 2022-2027

School construction and other capital needs included in The Plan 2022-27 are outlined below.  Projects included in this capital program were identified and funded by the continuation of an E-SPLOST approved by the taxpayers of Gwinnett County in November 2020.

Information related to the 2020 E-SPLOST, including the project list, material shared with our stakeholders prior to the referendum, and language associated with the joint resolution calling for the E-SPLOST may be found under the 2020 E-SPLOST Information page.  To jumpstart the program, the 2020 E-SPLOST vote authorized the school system to sell G.O. bonds to be repaid with sales tax proceeds.

The list of projects is subject to available funding.  Planned new classroom construction is based upon projected enrollment and is subject to change if actual enrollment is lower than anticipated.

School system staff provides a monthly update to the Board of Education regarding the execution of the capital plan.
