Water Safety
Water activities are a great way to have a good time with friends and family. Before wading into the water, it is important to know how to protect yourself. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), more children ages 1–4 die from drowning than any other cause of death. For children ages 5–14, drowning is the second leading cause of unintentional injury and death after motor vehicle crashes.
Learning how to swim and following water safety tips saves lives.
