Gwinnett County Public Schools

At its regularly scheduled business meeting on July 21, 2022, the Gwinnett County Board of Education (BOE) approved the appointments of three district leaders to new positions as part of the district’s reorganization to support its strategic plan. In addition, the BOE appointed the new principal at Brookwood High School. The new appointments are as follows:

  • Cathy Hardin has been named the Chief Human Resources Officer. Ms. Hardin currently serves as System Vice President, Employee Relations for Emory Healthcare, Atlanta.
  • Glenn Melendez has been named Chief Technology and Innovation Officer. Mr. Melendez currently serves as Chief Information Officer for Fulton County Government.
  • Natalie Gore has been named Chief Strategy Officer. Ms. Gore currently serves as Assistant Superintendent of District and School Performance for Henry County Schools.
  • Brett Savage has been named the new principal at Brookwood High School. Dr. Savage currently serves as Principal at Crews Middle School. He assumes the position as William “Bo” Ford leaves the school district.
