At its February 24, 2022, business meeting, the Gwinnett County Board of Education appointed Dr. Crystal Cooper as the new principal of Starling Elementary School. Dr. Cooper, who currently serves as the principal of Sycamore Elementary, will replace Dr. Charlotte Sadler who has been the interim principal at Starling Elementary since December 2021.
