Gwinnett County Public Schools has named the recipients of the 2022 Outstanding Senior Athlete Award. Each year the award is presented to a male and female student at each high school who has shown excellence in athletics and academics, while also exhibiting leadership in the school and through community service. These students are not necessarily the best athletes in their senior class but have proven themselves to be outstanding in a variety of areas. The director of athletics at each high school works with the coaching staff to select the students who will represent their school. Congratulations to these young people for their hard work in the classroom, in the pool, the gym, and on the track and field. In addition to acknowledging their high school accomplishments, GCPS wishes the best to those who plan to compete at the college level.
