CSEdWeek (December 4-8) is an annual call to action to inspire K-12 students to learn computer science, advocate for equity, and celebrate the contributions of students, teachers, and partners to the field. GCPS actively supports computer science learning and pathways to prepare students for careers taking shape now and in the future. This year’s CSEdWeek theme is #ImpactsInCS.
Why should we celebrate CSEdWeek?
Create excitement and interest around Computer Science (CS)
Expose students to CS opportunities who may not be taking CS courses
Promote CS opportunities in your community
Foster computational thinking and creativity skills
Spark student interest in career opportunities
