Eight Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) students placed 1st or 2nd at the HOSA-Future Health Professionals state competition, including Maxwell High School of Technology’s Anatomage Table team, taking 1st place. These distinguished students will have the opportunity, alongside other qualifying HOSA students, to compete in HOSA’s International Leadership Conference in Dallas, Texas, from June 21–24.

HOSA is an international student organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education (HSE) Division of the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE). HOSA's two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the healthcare industry and to enhance the delivery of quality healthcare to all people. HOSA provides a unique program of leadership development, motivation, and recognition exclusively for secondary, postsecondary, middle school, adult, and collegiate students enrolled in health science education and biomedical science programs or have interests in pursuing careers in health professions.
