Join Darth Vader, the Mandalorian, Jedi Knights, and Clifford the Big Red Dog on Saturday, May 4, at the J. Alvin Wilbanks Instructional Support Center (ISC) for Gwinnett County Public Schools’ annual Book Mobile 5K and Fun Run. The event will raise funds to purchase new books for the Book Mobile program, putting books in students’ hands.  

Time:

• 7:00 a.m. - Packet Pick-Up and Registration
• 8:00 a.m. - 5K starts
• 9:00 a.m. - Fun Run begins
   

Cost:

• Book Mobile 5K - $35 through April 19
• Book Mobile 5K - $40 from April 20 to May 3
• Family Discount - (4+ registrants) $5.00 discount per registrant
• Fun Run - $18; increases to $20 after April 19
• Virtual 5K - $40 includes shipping your shirt; increases to $45 after April 19

     In addition to the 5K, the event will feature music, door prizes, awards, and snacks. All participants will receive shirts. Trophies will be given to the top Overall Male and Female winners as well as Overall Masters (50 and over) Male and Female winners. Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female runners in five-year increment age group categories. All runners 18 and under will receive a free book. The school with the most participants will win a visit from the Book Mobile. The Fun Run is not timed.
