Gwinnett County Public Schools’ (GCPS) World Languages program has proven its efficacy and success by earning several awards and student recognitions this year.
GCPS’ Director of World Languages and Dual Immersion programs, Dr. Jon Valentine, was elated to share the amazing success of this program. “Gwinnett County Public Schools World Languages and DLI programs ensure that each and every student is prepared to succeed in an increasingly interconnected future,” says Dr. Valentine. The ten distinct language programs of study in elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as the K-12 DLI programs, ensure that both monolingual and multilingual students learn and enhance language and cultural knowledge and skills to achieve a meaningful and work-ready level of proficiency.
