Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) students continue to produce higher ACT scores than their peers nationwide. Students in the Class of 2023 who took the ACT during the time they were in 10th to 12th grade had a mean composite score of 22.2, surpassing the state score of 21.3. GCPS scores also beat the national score of 19.5.
The ACT assesses a high school student’s general educational development and ability to complete college-level work successfully.
