During its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on May 16, 2024, the Gwinnett County Board of Education approved the appointment of two new Cluster Superintendents, an Executive Director of Employee Relations, a Director of Special Education, and a new Director of Foreign Language.
Dr. Eric R. Davidson has been named Cluster Superintendent for the Division of School Improvement and Operations. Dr. Davidson currently serves as principal at Duluth High School. Dr. Erin A. Hahn has been named Cluster Superintendent for the Division of School Improvement and Operations. Dr. Hahn currently serves as principal at Harris Elementary School. Dr. Davidson and Dr. Hahn will replace Dr. Terry Watlington and Dr. Bryan Long, who are retiring.
Nicole S. Holcomb has been named Executive Director of Employee Relations for the Division of Human Resources. Holcomb currently serves as director of Employee Relations in the Division of Human Resources. Susan A. O’Neil has been named Director of Special Education- Behavior/Therapeutic/Special Programs for the Division of Teaching and Learning. O’Neil currently serves as coordinator of Special Education in the Division of Teaching and Learning. Dr. Virin K. Vedder has been named Director of Foreign Language for the Division of Teaching and Learning. Dr. Vedder currently serves as coordinator of Foreign Language in the Division of Teaching and Learning. He replaces Dr. Jon Valentine, Executive Director of Enrichment and Support Programs.
