During a Special Called Board Meeting on June 3, 2024, the Gwinnett County Board of Education approved the appointment of two new principals.
Tyese M. Scott has been named principal at Creekland Middle School. Scott currently serves as principal at McKendree Elementary School. Cynthia “Cindy” A. Kinchen has been named principal at Duluth High School. Kinchen currently serves as principal at Duluth Middle School. Scott replaces Kimberly Gillette, who is retiring. Kinchen replaces Dr. Eric Davidson, who was promoted to cluster superintendent.
