At its regularly scheduled business meeting on June 16, 2023, the Gwinnett County Board of Education (BOE) approved the appointment of two district leaders and new principals at Berkmar Middle School and Grayson High School.
- Ms. Felecia Jones has been named the new principal at Berkmar Middle School. Ms. Jones currently serves as Assistant Principal at Berkmar Middle. She replaces Kaneshia Dorsan who has accepted a position within the University System of Georgia.
- Dr. Rukina Walker has been named the new principal at Grayson High School. Dr. Walker currently serves as Principal at Trip Elementary School. She replaces Dr. Dana Pugh who retired at the end of the school year.
- Dr. Allan Gee has been named Cluster Superintendent. Dr. Gee currently serves as Principal at Rock Springs Elementary School. He replaces Anthony Smith who is retiring.
- Mr. Gregory “Greg” Johnson has been named Executive Director of Budgets, Strategy, and Risk Mitigation. Mr. Johnson currently serves as Deputy Director of Financial Services at the City of St. Augustine, Fla.
