Gwinnett County Board of Education Seeks Community Feedback on Proposed Policy Changes

The following policies were tabled at the last regular business meeting of the Gwinnett County Board of Education (BOE). Citizens may also provide input on the proposed policy revisions by emailing MySchoolBoard@gcpsk12.org.

Before the next board meeting in November 2022, the Gwinnett County Board of Education is seeking feedback on proposed changes to policy from the GCPS Community. The Board of Education of Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) values the input and feedback it receives from students, families, staff, and community members regarding matters pertaining to the work of the Board and the operation of Gwinnett County Public Schools. With that in mind, the Board wants to hear from these groups as it continues to review its policy that addresses public participation in its meetings.

The proposed revisions have yet to be adopted by the GCPS Board of Education as they are committed to seeking input from the GCPS community.
