On Tuesday, August 22, Gwinnett County Parent Mentors, in collaboration with  Gwinnett County Public Schools’(GCPS) Special Education Department, will host: “Starting the School Year on a Positive Note” to help parents and students get back to a positive school routine after the summer break.

This information session, presented by Parent Mentor Dawn Albanese, is highly recommended for parents of students of all levels (elementary, middle, and high school). Participants in this session will learn about Parent Engagement, Effective Communication, Daily Routines, Self-Determination, Record Keeping, Self-Care, and most importantly, how to get a great start to the new school year.
