Gwinnett County School Police (GCSP) and 12 Gwinnett County public schools hosted an event for Teen Driving Week promoting safe driving and driving habits. Several schools partnered with outside groups like AAA, Dacula Allstate Insurance, and the Scheiderich Agency. Grayson High School’s partnership with AAA provided students with vehicle inspections. During DUI awareness classes, GCSP utilized pedal cars and “drunk goggles” to give the illusion of impaired vision at two of the 12 schools. Along with Driver's Ed courses, students were also provided with Chick-Fil-a lunch.
