Keller Williams Realty has chosen Summerour Middle School for the company’s “RED Day” community service project. The project will include the creation of outdoor learning and dining spaces, a garden to further students’ education in science, a zen space for teachers to relax and regroup, and a Care Closet full of necessities available for students to use as they need without judgement. In addition, Keller Williams’ certified agents will teach Quantum Leap to a group of the middle school’s students with the intention of promoting personal growth and showing them how to identify, manage, and achieve goals in life.

With the help and effort of a team of volunteers, Keller Williams’ “RED Day” is an annual tradition held on the second Thursday in May to Renew, Energize, and Donate in the communities it serves. At the heart of Keller Williams’ culture is the organization’s shared commitment to community service. The immeasurable generosity displayed by its team enables the organization to care for its own as well as its neighbors, no matter the magnitude of what is needed. “We are honored to be chosen for Keller Williams’ RED Day community service initiative. As an IB School, we teach our students the value of serving our community. Our students will see service in action and our school will benefit from the work of the volunteers,” says Summerour Middle School Principal, Dr. Natalie Looney.

Keller Williams’ Atlanta Partners NE, Snellville, Loganville, and Monroe offices selected Summerour Middle School as the recipient of its day of service. The combined team wanted to directly impact a school that has shown so much promise in supporting young students who want to better their own circumstances. The energy and positive mindset among the teachers and administration at Summerour Middle School is undeniable, and Keller Williams Realty - Atlanta Partners is proud to partner with the school to make a difference in the lives of its students.
