On Tuesday, April 18, Gwinnett County Parent Mentors, in collaboration with Gwinnett County Public Schools’ (GCPS) Special Education Department, will host: “Understanding Literacy and How to Support Your Child.”
This information session is highly recommended for parents of students at all levels (elementary, middle, and high school). Presented by Dr. Susan Potts-Datema, GCPS Director of School Support; Libby Griffith, GCPS Instructional Coach, and Jessica Walker, GCPS Behavior Specialist, the session will provide participants with a general understanding of the stages of reading development.
