More than 30 Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) bus drivers received a good meal and a heartfelt thank you at the 2nd Annual Bus Driver Appreciation Luncheon in Peachtree Corners. The event, sponsored by the Peachtree Station Homeowners Association (HOA), celebrates the 35 Zone 038 GCPS bus drivers who safely transport students to and from school throughout the year. These drivers serve Norcross High School, Paul Duke STEM High School, Pinckneyville Middle School, Summerour Middle School, Peachtree Elementary School, Simpson Elementary School, and Stripling Elementary School.
Elizabeth Kay Pinder, the Peachtree Station HOA president, is proud to recognize and honor the community’s dedicated bus drivers. “We love celebrating our bus drivers,” Pinder shares. “We want to show our gratitude for their consistent dedication to our kids. They make a positive impact in our neighborhood every school day.”
Knuckies Hoagies, a Peachtree Corners eatery, provided food and beverages for the luncheon.
