Seckinger High School celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month through its “Mes de la Hispanidad” project. The project spotlighted the contributions and accomplishments of prominent Hispanic figures in the United States. Students created informative posters detailing the lives and impacts of those influential figures who have used their fame and resources for philanthropy. In a live presentation, the posters came to life in a “living museum.” The project helped foster cultural appreciation. It also provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity and knowledge and promote an enriching learning environment. Furthering this celebration, students carried flags and wore t-shirts on “Home Country Flag and T-Shirt Day.”
