Gwinnett County Public Schools

South Gwinnett High School’s Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) students have accomplished a major educational milestone this year. On May 18, 2023, students will be recognized for completing their CTAE Pathways, earning the Pathway Skills Seal for their diplomas. South Gwinnett will host students, family members, and community leaders for the CTAE Pathway Completion Ceremony, held to recognize students who have completed their CTAE Pathways in 2023.

Georgia’s Career Clusters allow students to choose an area of interest in high school from 17 career clusters. Students take classes tailored to their career cluster, which includes multiple career paths and helps navigate to greater success. At the end of their course work, they have the opportunity to take an End of Pathway Assessment (EOPA). Students that have completed the course work and passed the EOPA will receive the Pathway Diploma Seal and Certificate. The diploma seal is a signal to employers that a student is prepared to participate in the workforce. “We are super excited about the many opportunities our students have to shine and make us proud!” says South Gwinnett High School Principal Dorothy Jarrett. The ceremony will take place May 18 at 9:00 a.m. in the South Gwinnett High School Performing Arts Theater.

Pathway Skills Seal
