  • Grayson High School Band was selected to play at the London New Year's Day Parade in 2024!
  • Grayson High won the 2022 College Success Award from GreatSchools.org. The college success award recognizes public high schools that excel at preparing students for college and beyond. GHS is only of 1,742 public high schools nationwide to win this year's award.
  • Grayson was recognized as a 2023 AP Honor School. We were recognized for being a school of AP Access and Support, AP Humanities, AP Humanities Achievement, AP School of Distinction, AP STEM, and AP STEM Achievement.
  • Mrs. Taqueesa Davis and Dr. Wendy Dyer of Grayson High School have been recognized by the Yale Office of Undergraduate Admissions as recipients of the 2022 Yale Educator Award.
  • Bianca Dixon, Joshua Roseboro, and Cameri Terrelonge won first place in the Region 4, 7A Literary Competition.
  • DECA student Caroline Becker won 1st place for the design of the Chapter Pin at the Georgia DECA Fall Rally. DECA students Genevieve Ahey, Dylan Vo, Ishana Kumar, and Kennedy Johnson were winners of the Stateman Award Testing at the Georgia DECA Leadership Development Conference.
  • Shafil Alam, Suraj Hussain, and Andrew Miller won first place for their Mobile App Development at the Georgia FBLA State Leadership Conference
  • Football and Boy's Basketball were Region Champions. Boys Basketball made the Final Four in the State Playoffs. Our athletes were awarded $25,108,321 in scholarships.
  • Grayson High seniors were awarded $10,421,790 in academic scholarships and $728,000 in military scholarships.
  • Benito Karkada won 1st place in the FBLA Regional Leadership Conference for Word Processing.
  • Grayson High is a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) school. PBIS encourages positive behaviors with recognition for students who exhibit appropriate school conduct.
