- One of our students competed successfully in the Gwinnett Regional Science Engineering and Innovation Fair as a 6th grader. She advanced to the Broadcom Masters national competition for her outstanding project. The project advanced to the top 300 finalists from nearly 2,000 top entries from all over the country.
- More than 30 students participated in the Science Fair, and 12 of the winners won 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place.
- At least one or more Hull Middle school teachers are Jackson EMC Bright Idea Grant recipients each year.
- Hull's STEM teams present several real-world problem based showcases each year.
- The Philadelphia College of Medicine has partnered with our 7th grade STEM team and provided several opportunities for in-house field trips to learn STEM's role in various health fields.
- The 7th-grade language arts students who participated in the Word Masters Challenge were among the top five schools in the nation.
- For three years, Hull Middle School was an honored recipient of the Platinum Award by the State of Georgia, Governor's Office of Student Achievement.
- For two years, Hull Middle School was an honored recipient of the Silver Award by the State of Georgia, Governor's Office of Student Achievement.
- Hull Middle School's Band, Chorus, and Orchestra consistently earn high ratings in the district's Large Group Performance Evaluations.
- Hull Middle School has a variety of clubs and extracurricular activities for students.
- Hull Middle School was recognized by the Georgia Department of Education with Operational status for its implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) in the last school year. PBIS encourages positive behaviors with recognition for students who exhibit appropriate school conduct.
