- 13 Trickum students had their art work displayed at this year's Tapestry Art Show.
- Trickum’s cast of Beauty and the Beast was recognized at DRAMARAMA with two students being named to the All Star Cast and one student being recognized as a Top Technician.
- Trickum’s Odyssey of the Mind teams placed 1st, 2nd, and 4th at State Competition. Two teams were invited to the World Finals. One 6th-grade student won an OMER award for her collaborative teamwork throughout the year.
- Trickum’s 8th Grade Guitar Ensemble performed at the 2023 GMEA In-Service Convention in Athens, GA.
- Trickum's Girl's Cross Country team finished 3rd at the county championships, with four girls placing in the top 25 individually. The boys finished 6th with one student as the overall winner.
- Trickum’s JLC Raider Team had great success this year, winning multiple trophies, including 1st place for the “Iron Raider Female.”
- Trickum’s MathCounts team finished 2nd at the Chapter Competition and 5th overall at the State Competition, with four students placing in the Top 10 individually in their respective grade levels.
- Trickum’s band had a stellar year including: one GMEA All-State Band Member, 16 GMEA District 13 District Band Members, Straight Superiors at GMEA District 13 LGPE, 45 Students Received Superior Ratings at GMEA District 13 Solo & Ensemble Festival, 3 Students selected for GMEA District 13 Honor Jazz Band, 8 Students nominated for GMEA District 13 First Year Honor Band, 17 Students Selected for the University of Georgia Middle School Band Festival
- Trickum’s 7th, 8th, and Honor Orchestras received Superior Ratings at LGPE. Two students were accepted into the Gwinnett County Middle School Honor Orchestra. One student was accepted into the GMEA Middle School All-State Orchestra.
- Trickum’s Relay for Life team raised over $11,000 for the American Cancer Society.
- Trickum Middle is a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) school. PBIS encourages positive behaviors with recognition for students who exhibit appropriate school conduct.
