Dacula Elementary continues to have a strong Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) that supports the work of the school through purchasing additional resources, providing parent volunteers, and organizing school events such as Dacula Dash, Holiday Lunch, and Bingo Nights for the school community.

April Adams, our local Teacher of the Year, represented Dacula Elementary Schools in the GCPS Teacher of the Year process in 2022-23.

Our school's head custodian and the custodial staff were recognized for exemplary performance for the 2022-23 school year in county-level awards.

Dacula Elementary provided many extracurricular enrichment opportunities for students, including Chess Club, Chorus, Readers Rally, Running Club, Student Council, Morning News, Basketball Club, Art Club, Chess Club, Wonder and Wander Club, and Reflections.

The Dacula Elementary Robotics Team participated in the Mountain View Regional FLL Tournament in December 2022.

Dacula Elementary supported the Dacula Cluster schools and the community in various ways, including participation in Great Days of Service and the Food Fight to benefit a local food pantry.

A Little Free Library is utilized by the community on our school campus to allow access to books for children.

Dacula Elementary was recognized as one of the top ten schools in GA fundraising for the Kids Heart Challenge through the American Heart Association, under the leadership of Bob Tucker and Kathryn Toluba.

Dacula Elementary had two students participate in the Gwinnett County Elementary Honor Chorus.

Dacula Elementary School was recognized by the Georgia Department of Education with Operational status for its implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) in the last school year. PBIS encourages positive behaviors with recognition for students who exhibit appropriate school conduct.
