- All students at Harmony get the opportunity to take a Computer Science special. In these classes, they learn the building blocks of how computers work, coding, and laying the foundation for further coursework that they will be able to take in the AI-themed Seckinger Cluster.
- Harmony offers students the opportunity to engage in a variety of extracurricular clubs. Over 60% of students participated in at least one extracurricular club last school year. In particular, the number of students participating in robotics clubs has grown over the last two years.
- Harmony's FLL Robotics Team won first place in Core Values at Super Regionals and first place in Innovation Projects at the Regional competition.
- Harmony's Readers Rally team won first place in their division at the county competition, won their semi-final round, and advanced to the championship at the ISC.
- Harmony Elementary hosted a Fall Festival alongside an International Fair. The International Fair was planned with the help of the Culture Club, which meets twice a month.
- Harmony Elementary had four teams compete in the national math competition, Continental Math League. Harmony 5th graders placed 4th in the state of Georgia.
- Harmony's Junior Beta Club partnered with the local food pantry to collect food items for our community. Each month, the club focused on two items on the food pantry's most-needed items list. Their final donation in April was 202 pounds of food donated!
- Harmony's PTA partnered with Georgia Paving and Vulcan to pave a walking track on Harmony's playground. It was the culmination of three years of hard work by the PTA.
- Harmony is preparing to celebrate its 100th anniversary during the 2023-2024 school year.
- Harmony Elementary School was recognized by the Georgia Department of Education with Distinguished status for its implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) in the last school year. PBIS encourages positive behaviors with recognition for students who exhibit appropriate school conduct.
