- Lovin Elementary School won the Jim Steel Educators of the Year Award from Gwinnett County Clean and Beautiful. We were recognized by Governor Brian Kemp at his 14th Annual Environmental State Address.
- Lovin Elementary School was selected as one of two schools in the Atlanta Metro Area to conduct a partnership event with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The USDA is partnering with The Little Red Barn Mobile Petting Farm and Fort Valley State University (HBCU) to bring experiences to students and showcase opportunities that schools can do to partner with the USDA.
- Lovin Elementary School was featured in two videos by the Georgia Department of Education and Georgia Public Broadcast System. These videos were made for teachers and parents in the State of Georgia to focus on the benefits of play-based learning.
- Lovin Elementary School received the 2021 Green and Healthy Schools Achievement Award presented by Gwinnett County Public Schools and Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful.
- All students at Lovin Elementary School get the opportunity to take a Computer Science special. In these classes, they learn the building blocks of how computers work, laying the foundation for further coursework that they will be able to take in middle school.
- Lovin Elementary School was recognized by the Georgia Department of Education with Distinguished status for implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) in the last school year. PBIS encourages positive behaviors with recognition for students who exhibit appropriate school conduct.
- Lovin Elementary School’s Compost Connector program was recognized by Gwinnett County Public Schools and featured on Channel 2 News.
- Lovin Elementary reached the TOP 10 in Participation in American Heart Association Kids Heart Challenge.
